Job Summary:

The Inside Sales MMP Account Executive partners with assigned Market AEs to coordinate customized campaigns which typically cross-business segments, cross-technology solutions, as well as highlight and enhance the clients’ brand. They collaborate with their assigned Market AEs to understand the clients’ needs and priorities, and then propose innovative advertising campaigns that align to those priorities and achieve client KPIs, ultimately maximizing revenue and client retention for MMP opportunities. Successful candidates will have a track record of building strong relationships with partners and clients, in addition to a history of consistently achieving revenue goals.

Responsibilities & Required Skills

  • Serve as an Account Executive for iHeartMedia's National Sales, Marketing & Partnerships Division; representing on-air assets and on-site events to Market AEs within MMP Partnerships platform to coordinate and close proposals with advertising agencies spot media departments and/or media buying services, as well as client direct advertisers.

  • Coordinate totality of plan with TTWN, Digital Sales Engineer (DSE) and Premiere partners for cohesive proposal.

  • Build and maintain close relationships with Market AEs and MMP Point Managers as trusted advisor for those plans.

  • Utilize and position quantitative & qualitative data, market data and competitive information to grow market share and revenue.

  • Successfully negotiate business on behalf of iHeartMedia stations, know the competition, and maintain control of negotiations as trusted resource.

  • Effectively communicate all components of sales to internal management.

  • Analyze potential problems and recommend solutions to management team.

  • Identify client/agency needs and assist in development of persuasive proposals to meet needs and opportunities.

  • Maintain communication and ensure client satisfaction from order placement to final recap.

  • Monitor competition to continually find new account leads.

  • Watch aging reports to ensure prompt payment and communicate with Market AEs to do so.

  • Follow all station procedures for preparing orders, confirming copy, resolve credit or billing issues, and ensure all placement is correct and matching with insertion order.

  • Maintain opportunities in SFDC to ensure pipeline lists and forecasted revenue is correct for enterprise.

  • Create effective marketing campaigns in cooperation with iHeartMedia resources.

  • Prospect & develop new business leads for Enterprise Sales and perform frequent follow up with AEs who have been assigned Enterprise Leads

  • Generate revenue and meet/exceed established sales targets.

Required Experience /Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and social networking platforms

  • Proficient in SALESFORCE and KATZ ORDERS

  • Adept at prospecting and using effective consultative selling principles and practices

  • Strong client service relationship-building skills and must work well with others and be collaborative/team oriented in nature

  • Ability to plan and organize, set priorities, and multi task in a fast-paced environment

  • Negotiation and closing proficiency as well as persuasive communication skills: verbal, written, and presentation

  • Proven sales success developing new business

  • Independent; self-motivated; competitive; assertive

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills and ability to prioritize workload

  • Understanding of market dynamics including demographics

  • Stress tolerance especially with tight deadlines and financial pressures

  • Professional appearance with strong interpersonal skills

  • Work Experience: 1-2 years sales experience in Media/Advertising Sales with proven success is preferable
