What We Need:
This position is for a full-time news director/anchor, providing critical content to New York City and surrounding tri-state area and other duties as assigned. Candidate will need to be comfortable interacting on-air with morning drive and late-morning co-hosts between newscasts and have experience as a conservative talk show host to fill in when one of the regular morning drive hosts is off.
What You'll Do:
Gathers, writes, edits, and reports local and national news stories for morning hours weekdays.
Monitors sources for breaking news, e.g., wires and social media.
Provides newscasts/reports and write copy.
Serve as contributing sidekick to morning drive talk show
Host weekly one-hour public affairs-driven show
Fill in for regular weekday morning drive talk talent when regular host(s) is off
What You'll Need:
Strong on-air presence and ability to present stories/newscasts with authority
Excellent writing and editing ability; excellent grammar
Strong time management skills are key; adept at setting priorities and managing deadlines
Knowledgeable and up-to-date with local and national trends
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Proficient in media production (primarily audio) and broadcast systems
Ability to serve as a conservative-leaning talk show host
Strong social media skills including writing/posting for Facebook, Twitter and Instagram

Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data.
