Job Summary:

The Vice President, Total Rewards will effectively partner with leadership to ensure the alignment of design initiatives with business goals and objectives across compensation & benefits. This position is responsible for leading the development and delivery of progressive and strategic compensation solutions, including executive compensation. This position leads the development and administration of all compensation and benefit plans, policies and programs targeted at retaining the company's competitive position and maximizing employees’ productivity, engagement and retention.

Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the CHRO, General Counsel and President/COO/CFO, develops executive compensation and benefit programs, gains management support and prepares executive compensation proposals for Compensation Committee and Board approval.

  • Prepares materials for public filings as they relate to executive compensation.

  • Will plan, develop and implement new and revised compensation and benefit programs.

  • Provides expert counsel in the development of annual variable incentive compensation and other applicable incentive plans, oversight of applicable benefit plans/plan design & changes and effective salary management, and a total rewards philosophy.

  • Working with other HR leaders designs and coordinates the communications of all the compensation and benefits plans.

  • Manages all of the company's equity-based compensation plans for its executives and other eligible employees.

  • Harmonize and integrate employees’ benefits and compensation plans related to acquisitions.

  • Responsible for on-going benefits and pay compliance to regulated programs including SOX.

  • Responsible for administration and overall quality and consistency of client service provided by the function.

  • Develop, review, and implement compensation programs that affect our employees company wide, including short-term & long-term incentive plans.

  • Reviews and analyzes the benefits market to determine employee needs, trends, regulations and practices, and develops competitive programs and services to meet company goals.

  • Develops and disseminates effective and clear communications regarding compensation, benefits and HRIS programs/processes.

  • Partners with other HR leaders to optimize HRIS systems to meet workforce requirements creating opportunities for improvements and automation.

  • Participates on various committees and work groups.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • 10 + years of Compensation and Benefits planning.

  • Comprehensive experience in a public company in a similar role.

  • Large, public company exposure, comfortable and experienced with complexity.

  • Executive Compensation / Compensation Committee experience.

  • Significant compensation and benefits plan technical experience, as well as tax and regulatory knowledge.

  • Knowledgeable on legislation impacting pay programs. Maintains awareness of economic and pay practice trends within industry.

  • Solid foundation in compensation theories and practices.

  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • B.A., MBA, or B.S. from an accredited institution, preferably in Business or Economics.
