What We Need:

TheStudio at iHeartMedia is seeking a Junior Project Manager for our Copy and Audio Production team who is detail-oriented, reliable, and a highly organized team player. We are looking for a leader to help lead the team in a fast-paced, collaborative, and creative department in New York or Nashville. You love to work with a team and have a general understanding of all types of Copy and Audio Production needs for Advertisements including working with Audio Producers, Copywriters, SAG and non-union talent, Podcast, Pharma, vendors, and internal stakeholders. This role will be paired with a Project Manager and will report directly to the Director of Project Management.

What You'll Do:

Detailed List of Responsibilities:

  • Work with Director of Project Management with all projects needs for Audio Advertisements.

  • Manages Audio Producers on projects for Brand Spots, Jingles, Broadcast Promos, Podcast brand spots, Adlets, and general Audio Production.

  • Collects all assets for producers - VO and Music Bed specs, creative direction, audio (if spots include clips or specific music bed), SFX, and any other information needed for the final audio product.

  • Create production timelines for both Audio teams.

  • Create and track budgets.

  • Set up and conduct Kickoff/Briefing calls with clients (if required)

  • Manage AE’s and talk them through audio process and our capabilities.

  • Manages and creates hard cost tickets for non-union projects.

  • Track, Process, and reconcile all hard cost for vendor account invoices to TheStudio.

  • Manage communication, timeline, and deliverables with third party vendors:

  • Campaign Management

  • Respond to incoming project requests and inquiries from Sales, Marketing, Client Partnership teams in an efficient and timely manner.

  • Jingle Production

  • Music Bed Production

  • Manage and document project assets and work-flow.

  • Work closely with Producers and Copywriters on all projects.

  • Notify Director of any project issues or challenges.

  • Ensure all milestones and deadlines are met.

  • Create and maintain internal audio deliverable trackers/reports.

  • Manage multiple jobs simultaneously.

  • Work effectively with teammates.

  • General office duties as needed.

  • Assist in quality control of assets before delivery.

  • Work with Director of Project Management of the Copy and Audio Vertical to evaluate bandwidth and manage resource management

What You'll Need:

Qualifications

  • Prior experience at advertising agency, production company, or entertainment company

  • 2+ years of experience of post-college experience managing projects, coordinating teams, and/or other planning-related duties, preferably in media.

  • A strong understanding of agency processes, including copy and audio production.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Exceptional organizational and teamwork skills.

  • Strong sense of urgency with sensitivity to time pressures and multiple deadlines.

  • Natural leadership ability and skills - knows when to take charge and when to delegate.

  • Understanding of relevant social media platforms and their requirements.

  • Able to work successfully with teams, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines under pressure.

  • Aptitude for leadership and problem solving

Compensation:

Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data.

$58,500 - $71,500
