Leads media plan creation and inventory / pipeline tracking for iHeartMedia Event and Program sponsorships.
We are seeking a Director to lead the media plan creation for iHeartMedia Event (i.e. iHeartRadio Music Festival, Country Festival, Fiesta Latina, Jingle Ball, Theater Shows, etc.) and Program (i.e. On The Verge, Straight from the Studio, World Premieres, etc.) Sponsorships. The Director will also be responsible for tracking sales activity/inventory for these Events and providing weekly reporting and analysis to senior management. The position reports to the Senior Vice President - Media Strategy.

Own the process for creating event and media sponsorship packages for iHeartMedia events and programs – lead other members of the Media Strategy team in building event plans
Work with internal teams, Marketing, Event Sales and Programming to confirm event related program details: exclusivity, flight dates, number of promotional spots, type of sponsor integrations
Generate SalesForce.com revenue and pipeline reports to monitor event sales activity & pitch status – provide weekly reporting to senior management
Guide event sponsorship package creation based on historical analysis of sell/pitch rates by event and revenue goals
Manage radio on-air promotional inventory for event sponsors including inventory allocation & delivery
Present sponsorship packages and inventory analysis to internal teams
Strong leadership and communication skills. Be able to lead a team that has dotted line reporting to her/him
Ability to thrive working independently, but keep her/his manager and the larger team up to speed
Analytical, detail-oriented approach to projects. Be able to solve unexpected problems and come up with new solutions
Superior organizational & time management skills. Be able to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel; know how to create pivot tables, use VLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.
6+ years of advertising/media/project management experience
Bachelor’s degree with related coursework in advertising, project management, media planning
