We are seeking an experienced and motivated Director, Client Solutions to work alongside the sales and business development teams to create comprehensive, integrated strategies and innovative media programs. This person will utilize their understanding of multi-media assets and experience to create large-scale and compelling national and local programs that win business. This position is NY-based with responsibilities including but not limited to:
Provide strategic & creative marketing support to national sales & business development teams, and clients to help formulate innovative RFP based & pro-active marketing and promotional media programs
Own the process from ideation to pitch material development to pitching concepts to clients:
Lead the ideation to develop custom client solutions that are strategic and innovative
Collaborate with research to obtain data and insights that support marketing programs and relevantly position iHeartMedia recommended assets
Work with various internal groups to obtain input and approval on client recommended concepts - programming, events and activations, media planning teams
Develop and write integrated marketing proposals for clients in partnership with relevant divisions of iHeartMedia
Present marketing concepts to clients in conjunction with sales team
Successfully transition sold marketing programs to activations team; partner with activation team to ensure program remains on strategy and achieves KPIs
Consult and sometimes lead program renewal pitches
Foster and manage relationships across internal divisions and with external clients in conjunction with sales partners
Assist in the creation of case studies and go-to-market collateral as necessary
Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in Advertising, Media, Marketing or a related field
Preferred experience includes integrated sales marketing, account strategy or media agency experience; radio experience is a plus Demonstrates leadership, strategic & creative thinking
Strong creative ideation, writing & presentation skills are a must
Proven track record of developing innovative large-scale marketing strategies, programs or campaigns
Proven track record of successful multi-cultural campaigns/work
Strong understanding of research metrics and ability to apply them to strengthen client proposals
Excellent organization, planning, multi-tasking and time management skills
Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced work environment
Entrepreneurial, self-starter with hands-on approach
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in related fields, such as Marketing, Business or a related field
Strong Microsoft Office skills
