About the Role:
The Director Of Digital Analytics role offers the opportunity to have an immediate impact and shape advancement of the digital audio business at iHeartRadio, which offers unlimited music all in one app from thousands of radio stations, artists, playlists, podcasts, ad technology integrations and more, as well as editorial content across the web.
We are looking for an experienced leader in Data Analytics with a strategic mindset and a passion for data. The Director of Digital Analytics role is responsible for leading the Digital Analytics team by implementing reporting strategies and tools that help key stakeholders understand monetization opportunities and impact within the organization and externally.
The ideal candidate possesses a blend of data analytics, advanced sql, python, automation and engineering knowledge. Background with quantitative and qualitative skills, data storytelling / communications abilities, and an entrepreneurial spirit. Additionally, the candidate should be comfortable working and presenting to executives and active member of senior leadership across all business units of the organization.
Manage and oversee all responsibilities of the Data Analytics team
Lead implementations on new digital products
Work with fellow Analytics team members to produce strategic digital insights with a service level of consistent quality to partners and stakeholders, including Executives, Product, Marketing, Tech, PR, Research, Sales, etc.
Design, develop, deploy, and maintain various types of reports and dashboards from detailed channel/campaign reporting to high-level executive summaries
Analyze web and app performance and behaviors using various data sources, including Adobe Analytics and proprietary systems
Maintain data infrastructure through governance, implementations, tagging, testing, validation, and verification of data and data sources, including Adobe Analytics and proprietary systems
Create, improve, and automate reporting methods
Write queries and perform ad hoc data analysis
8+ years proven Analytics experience, ideally at a digital and/or mobile-first company
Strong experience using Adobe Analytics and/or similar systems
Experience with Adobe Dynamic Tag Manager (DTM) and/or similar systems
Advanced SQL & Python
Understanding of automation and data engineering
Ability to analyze raw data and extract actionable insights
Strong verbal and written communication skills along with ability to present complex information into understandable, comprehendible information with actionable recommendations
Adapts easily to changing situations and can manage priorities
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
Advanced skills in Looker, Tableau, and/or other dashboarding tools
Skills in Python and/or R
Familiarity with A/B testing and analyzing results
Experience working within an agile workflow
Experience working with Product, Marketing, Tech, Sales, Business, Finance, etc. teams
Experience with Project Management
