Job Summary:

This role requires a highly detail-oriented, strategic thinker with expertise in data analytics, database design and data-driven storytelling in media.

The successful Data Analytics Manager, Corporate Research will be required to:

  • Create compelling data stories from our Smart Audio first party data and identities through research, interpretation, matching, and appending with, second and third-party data sets and the transformation of these output of these process into business information that actionable by sales and in our platforms.

  • Develop industry, category and audience insights leveraging our next generation data driven attribution and ad effectiveness products and also aid in new product development research.

  • Build/Maintain automated databases to efficiently track and organize relevant first party and syndicated industry data sets including market-intelligence, competitive positioning/analysis, industry trends and iHeartMedia centric KPIs

  • Support corporate research and insights in shaping iHeartMedia’s revenue strategy and narrative. Cultivate strong working relationships across function areas including Ad Product, Planning and Strategy, corporate finance, PR, marketing, digital, IT, programming and sales.

  • Consult on the latest data trends across all iHeartMedia platforms including broadcast radio, podcasts, streaming, social media, live events, emerging tech, distributed content partners (Snapchat, YouTube, etc) - state our clients’ businesses across multiple dimensions (sales, brand equity, search interest, website visits, social media, advertising activity)

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience developing data-driven consumer insights, data analytics, cultivating strategic brand perception and/or market-intelligence research

  • Experience working with media and syndicated tools (i.e. Nielsen products, MRI, comScore, Google Analytics, Megaphone, Kantar, Podtrac, Nielsen Audio, Unified, Adobe Analytics, Tableau and similar syndicated tools)

  • Advanced VBA and database design/automation skills required
