Clear Channel has made significant strategic investments in the use of big data to enhance our ability to generate audience insights and measure campaign impact for our recently launched RADAR analytics suite. The Ad Operations Analyst will be responsible for successful campaign execution, delivery and performance, and optimization of out of home (OOH) campaigns that utilize mobile advertising and other mobile data products. This is a multidisciplinary position, blending elements of operations, technology, and analytics. The analyst will work with various internal and external teams on vendor and client side to successfully small and large strategic accounts across all digital platforms. Open to this single position sitting in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, or Chicago.
Day to day management of mobile campaigns, working closely with CCO’s external mobile vendors to ensure campaign fulfillment from proposal to campaign delivery to post-campaign reporting.
Implement campaign optimization strategies to hit defined success metrics, troubleshoot pixels and third-party tags, and ensure successful launch of campaigns.
Serve as the point of contact for troubleshooting campaigns including creative issues, delivery concerns, product execution and configuration, QA, site performance impact, and campaign setup.
Analyze and reconcile third party delivery for proper billing every month.
Provide guidance to internal teams on campaign setup, delivery and performance optimizations, and campaign margin. Understand common KPIs, conversions, inputs, calculations and outputs required for any new strategic campaign implementation.
Continuously monitor campaign delivery and performance and communicate recommendations for optimizations and up-sell opportunities. Lead weekly pacing communication with internal teams.
Perform wrap-up analysis reporting, pulling in various sets of performance data and metrics to help tell a story to the client about how the campaign performed and help recommend best practices for future campaigns.
Assist with the ongoing evaluation of mobile technology partners to ensure CCO’s mobile offering remains competitive and industry-leading
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology or related field.
Advance degree preferred.
Strong knowledge of campaign life cycle management, ad sales process and familiarity with online advertising ecosystem.
2+ years in digital advertising or related industry managing operational processes and managing campaign delivery and performance.
Experience using web debugging tools (Firebug, HTTP headers, Developer tools etc.).
Experience managing performance-driven strategic campaigns.
Intermediate level skills in MS Office suite including MS Excel.
Experience with SQL is preferred but not required.
Working knowledge of ad server (Google DFP), DSP (Google, Sizmek, The Trade Desk), and Order management systems (Salesforce).
