iHeartRadio seeks a Product Manager to join our Web Product team in our new Nashville iHeartRadio tech hub! You will be responsible for continuing to create incredible experiences and pushing our existing products forward, assisting in ongoing management of the iHeartRadio Web app at all stages of the product lifecycle, and leveraging research and analytics to determine new opportunities for improvement or innovation. Reporting to the EVP of Flagship and International Products, and under the guidance of the Web Senior Product Manager, you will keep your finger on the pulse of current industry trends, identify problems, and drive multi-platform product development to create solutions. In addition, as a key member of the digital team will be actively involved in architectural software discussions across the organization. Developing applications in a dynamic environment requires a focus on creative open-ended thinking to solve complex business and user needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Research: Utilize our vast metrics and customer-focused data sets alongside your own research to continually find the next big growth opportunity, explore the latest web audio trends and features and propose ideas on how we can bring them back to our Web app
  • Write user stories to define new or updated functionality for the flagship iHeartRadio Web app
  • Create wireframes to aid in discussions with the UX Team
  • Manage in-life product performance as well as the product improvement lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
  • Create formal use cases and product descriptions and work as a facilitator between the various internal organizations to ensure product policy and processes are negotiated, documented, and executed accurately
  • Lead meetings centered on system and operational requirements for product changes and new product features
  • Pre-empt potential risk and provide effective solutions in reaction to the application of concepts, techniques, knowledge, or processes developed to support the new product or product change
  • Coordinate and build strong working relations with various internal organizations including, Analytics, UXD, Engineering, Marketing,
  • Solid team player that brings energy and enthusiasm to the organization
  • Customer Care: Partner with our Customer Care team to champion web users, understanding and prioritizing their feedback, investigate and resolve technical issues

Requirements:

  • Must have a balance of tech, marketing, and management skills
  • 2+ years experience working on a web application in a product role
  • Solid understanding of web design patterns and agile methodologies
  • Proven track record in product efficacy evaluation
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with and present to executive management credibly and comfortably
  • Excellent facilitation and teamwork skills
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Drive to improve and user experience top of mind
  • Media experience is a plus, especially online music or video
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
