Job Summary:

The Coordinator, Digital Support will work as a part of the Digital Applications Support team to help improve and support the iHeartMedia Network of digital properties, including websites and other digital content delivery solutions.

This role acts as the primary interface between digital, streaming, and platform operations teams and the company’s local radio station staff. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to over 900 digital properties, working directly with local market and station personnel to improve the user experience, identifying areas where the Digital group can improve via new product ideas, creating detailed business requirements with markets / stations, developing and testing product concepts, and collaborating with management to develop sound business plans for new product initiatives. The candidate will also serve as the primary training resource for new product rollouts. A positive attitude reflecting a can-do perspective is imperative to this role. Strong communication skills – particularly the ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly and concisely is essential.

Candidate must be customer service-focused and be be able to troubleshoot and resolve issues with web content publication and distribution. The candidate must be comfortable maintaining a professional and positive communication style in the face of numerous conflicting priorities. Willingness to learn, evolve, and retain flexibility is key. Job emphasis is placed on the ability to proactively evaluate and determine issues with the platform, help prioritize new product features and enhancements, and work with stations and internal cross-functional teams to keep the creative, technical, and business units focused while owning the “voice” of the organization to our customers/markets/stations.

This role will be based out of iHeartMedia's Nashville, TN location.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide platform and product support through a ticketing system, over the phone, via email, and in person as necessary

  • Be available after hours as an on-call resource

  • Produce documentation of software products and business processes

  • Identify areas for improvement of supported digital products

  • Troubleshoot defects

  • Assist in the quality assurance of feature releases

  • Conduct user product training and develop training materials

  • Prioritize, clarify, and analyze platform requirements

  • Work with Product and Development teams to clearly detail defects and product improvements

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment

  • Ability to troubleshoot software defects

  • Ability to translate end-user requirements into product and business requirements

  • Possess a strong technical background, including web development, knowledge of DNS and domain name management

  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

  • Experience working with HTML, CSS, Javascript and other web programming technologies

  • Strong independent problem-solving abilities

  • Possess strong technical writing abilities

  • Be able to prioritize multiple tasks and projects and deliver under deadline

  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

  • 2+ years in a support/customer service role within the digital media or software industry or 2+ years of web development or web project management or support experience

  • College degree or equivalent experience

PLUSES:

  • Knowledge of Python, Typescript, and other web scripting technologies a major plus

  • Familiarity with Github, DFP, Adobe Analytics, SEO strategy

  • Experience working in a multi-brand or enterprise-level environment

  • Experience with digital audio and video distribution a huge plus

  • Video production
