Manages campaigns which typically cross-business segments, cross-technology solutions and highlight and enhance the customer's brands.
Proposes and creates innovative advertising campaigns for new or current major customers to increase advertising sales revenue.
Creates campaigns for large brands or large national or corporate accounts.
Develops strong relationships with customer partners to maximize the mutual benefits and enhance brand imaging.
Works with sales team to understand customer's priorities and ensures that campaigns are aligned with those priorities.
Develops customized campaigns.
Ideal Candidate Experience
The ideal candidate is an accomplished, reputable media seller with a successful track record at creating substantial revenue growth through the creation and implementation of innovative, integrated business development/campaigns across traditional and new media platforms. He/she will have demonstrated experience working for a prestigious and recognizable brand with a strong identity in the media & entertainment market. He/she will bring creativity, innovation and a consultative approach to the organization.
5+ years of some combination of media sales and advertiser experience is required. Candidate’s background will include a mix of traditional media and digital sales experience
Experience in developing and executing sound integrated marketing solutions across key business categories
Proven ability to create “never been done”, highly-custom advertising solutions for each potential client based on deep client discovery
A track record of opening new accounts and driving revenue growth across a broad spectrum of client categories
A reputation for being an enthusiastic, energetic, effective networker who enjoys the selling process and is committed to building relationships and adding credibility for the Company
A strong customer focus coupled with a sense of urgency for the business, and a passion for delivering the highest level of client service
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close a deal
Excellent follow-up, strong organizational skills and attention to detail
A “command presence”, with excellent communication skills, both oral and written, as well as the ability to speak to a senior level audience with confidence, while deftly discussing all aspects of the evolving radio/podcast/digital and other media platforms and how they relate to that specific client
A student of business with a deeper focus on media, advertising, marketing and technology trends. Is able to translate business press into actionable linkages between IHeartMedia and prospective clients
A solid working knowledge of media planning tools, CRM and Microsoft Office
Location is flexible as we are looking for top sales talent across the country - NYC, LA and Chicago are preferred locations
