Job Summary:

The Senior Manager, Digital Sales Development is responsible for crafting compelling digital and cross-platform advertising strategies for iHeartMedia clients across multiple categories. This hybrid role will work as sales support creating marketing materials and media plans in response to RFPs. This position is a key function that will help guide progressive and creative campaign elements that advertisers expect from iHeartMedia.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the digital landscape including fast growing platforms like social, emerging platforms (ie connected devices, OTT) and podcasting. We’re looking for a digital expert that can determine and plan effective media strategies, efficiently leverage social distribution tactics/products, integrate branded content techniques within programs, etc. They will be self-starters with polished written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate their ideas coupled and analytical skills to accurately translate those ideas into media plans. Collaboration is key as they will be working with Sales, Packaging, Research, Creative Services and Product Teams.


  • Lead the development of digital ideation in internal brainstorms acting as an expert and a go-to resource for digital recommendations

  • Create and develop pitch decks, media plans, and all supporting materials needed to respond to RFPs

  • Maintain RFP response across key account list of high revenue accounts to provide smart and strategic media recommendations to priority advertisers

  • Collaborate with cross function teams to create digital solutions that compliment 360 programs including broadcast and events

  • Use documentation and systems to properly assign and track progress of key accounts and pending RFPs

  • Use post-sale data to better inform our pre-sale efforts


  • 5+ years experience working within a digital planning or digital marketing function

  • Minimum of 1 – 2 years of media agency experience

  • Marketing experience in a digital environment is a plus

  • Proven ability to effectively and efficiently tell marketing stories

  • Expert at PowerPoint and Excel

  • Self-motivating work ethic with the ability to multi-task and time manage effectively

  • Creative problem solver that can quickly pinpoint client needs
