What We Need:

Software Engineer - Intern

What You'll Do:

Responsibilities

  • Assists in developing UI components and Backend APIs in the music lab.

  • Involved in writing test cases to support functional testing.

  • Create SQL scripts.

  • Conducts research & analysis on new tools & technologies.

  • Prepares & delivers reports as required.

  • Learn job processes/requirements in assigned functions.

What You'll Need:

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of React/NodeJS/Python and an in-depth understanding of its lifecycle

  • Hands-on experience in HTML, CSS, Test tools & technologies

  • Knowledge of Relational/NoSQL databases is preferred

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills; active listening; effectively conveying information.

  • Innovation, Flexibility & Creativity; can adapt to shifts in priorities and urgencies.

  • Ability to work independently and efficiently

  • Interpersonal skills: collaboration with others

  • Professionalism

  • Prefer React/NodeJS/Python/Go Lang

Work Experience

  • Knowledge of the cloud is a big plus

  • Career interest in the media industry

Education

  • Full-time undergraduates (rising Junior or Senior) at a four-year college

  • Minimum 3.2 GPA

  • Media field of study a plus, e.g., Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Broadcast Journalism

Certifications

  • College/university transcript

  • Letter from the student’s school stating that the student will be granted credit for the internship
