What We Need:

Network Engineer Intern

What You'll Do:

The Network Engineer Intern will take part in a number of exciting day to day department operations and projects including rolling out SDWAN and network hardware upgrades.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Work closely with Senior engineers to deploy a full SDWAN solution and upgrade LAN hardware

  • Configure Cisco switches and Meraki wireless

  • Network Design for LAN/WAN

  • Validate monitoring and alerting on critical network issues

  • Maintain excellent documentation and processes

  • Contributes to departmental efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed

What You'll Need:

To join the Team you will need the following experience:

  • Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Network Operations, or related program; 3.0 GPA (strongly preferred)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • High levels of creativity and problem solving

  • Knowledge of Cisco configuration commands

  • A great attitude and hunger for learning and an ability to work within a team environment

  • Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills
