What We Need:

iHeartMedia is the leading media and entertainment company with the largest reach of any digital, radio, outdoor or television entity in the U.S. iHeartMedia is looking for a Senior Podcast Account Manager to join the Custom Podcast team and bring a positive attitude and a curiosity to learn.

You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the standard of excellence for client relationships. The position will be responsible for managing all aspects of communication, in addition to campaign set up, delivery and performance. The right candidate will be someone who thrives in a fluid and flexible environment, is intellectually curious, and has a strong acumen for problem solving. You’ll be working closely with many roles within the podcast team, reporting directly to the Podcast Account Director.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all key stakeholders (Executive Producers, Pre-Sale & Marketing, Account Coordinators, Sales, Audience Development, Research/ Measurement)

  • Project manage the first third of the campaign life cycle (pre-production)

  • Ensure things are staying on track based on the timelines

  • Account Manage the second third of the campaign life cycle (pre-launch)

  • Manage all asset creation for the media plan (audio spots, banners, etc.)

  • Process all assets / deliverables (Tags / Client provided elements)

  • Work with AdOps to ensure campaign is launched as scheduled

  • Campaign Manage the final third of the campaign life cycle (launch, campaign end)

  • Monitor pacing & performance.

  • Provide reporting based on standard reporting cadence

  • Build and maintain excellent client & partner relationships

  • Internal advocate for the client

  • Lead weekly status calls with the client (sending agenda prior to the call and recaps after the call)

  • Work cross-functionally with clients and sales, creative custom podcast production team, sales research, and technical teams

  • Mentor Account Coordinators

  • Lead conversations with the client around creative timelines, asset delivery, and third-party tracking to ensure campaigns launch in a timely manner

  • Manage client expectations around turnaround times / timelines and expected launch dates

  • Ensure clients are always aware of upcoming deadlines for assets & deliverables

  • Work with internal AdOps and client as needed to troubleshoot any ad creative issues that impact tracking, implementation, or reporting

  • Process all deliverables and work through any missing or incorrect tags/assets

  • Upload all assets & tags to shared drive

  • Craft pre-launch email

  • Send pre-launch email to AdOps

  • Task Account Coordinator with pulling 3P discrepancy report due 24hrs after launch

  • Communicate reporting cadence/expectations with the Account Coordinator

  • Work with AdOps and Client on troubleshooting any 3P discrepancies that need to be addressed

  • Partner with internal production team and audience development lead to communicate podcast production updates and marketing initiatives to clients

  • This information would be included in your bi-weekly reporting emails

  • Monitor and analyze campaign delivery and performance emphasizing big wins and recommending any optimization opportunities

  • Task the Account Coordinators to pull weekly pacing for media and ensure they communicate any under pacing lines

  • Task Account Coordinators with bi-weekly podcast reporting

  • Send Bi-weekly reporting to the client with excel attached and highlights/insights around performance outlined in the email

  • Address client questions and concerns in a timely and accurate manner

  • Manage all client comms and funnel any questions to the correct internal teams

  • Build formal presentations that highlight podcast and media performance in addition to audience insights, campaign learnings, and recommendations for future campaigns

  • Create mid-campaign and wrap decks to be presented to the client showcasing the performance of the podcast, media, crafting insights and learnings, and looking ahead to future seasons

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or relevant, equivalent experience.

  • 4+ year experience of professional experience in account management, preferably within ad operations environment

  • Extremely proactive and highly organized, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple and varied tasks and campaigns in a timely manner

  • Excellent client service and verbal and written communication skills; results driven with strong analytical skills

  • Understanding of digital media, AdTech, and the technical systems and relationships used by publishers, agencies, and advertisers to deliver podcast ads

Compensation:

Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data.
